Trekking
Flores Island, considered by many the most beautiful of the Azores, has in his landscapes and cultural heritage, the main reason for distinction.
Classified in 2009 as a Biosphere Reserve, the Island of Flores has landscape features, geological, environmental and cultural relevant to be worldwide known.
In this sequence, the WestCanyon® gives the opportunity for all interested in knowing a little more about natural and cultural heritage of the island, worthy of the distinction achieved.
The pedestrian walks consist in the accomplishment of trails once used as a coupling between the various localities of the island.
There are currently four marked trails recognized by the Direcção Regional de Turismo of Azores in the Island. However, the WestCanyon® gives your customers the opportunity to walk in these tracks, as well other tracks unknown by many that lead us into a real adventure.
